straniera (inglese o francese)
I
scuola media superiore: liceo classico, scientifico, linguistico,
artisitico, istituti tecnici e scuole professionali.
prove scritte e orali sulle materie dell’ultimo anno.
Italian
parents can send their children to creche. When their children get 3
years old, to kindergarten. This is not an obbligation. Obbligated
education starts by 6 years old, within primary school which takes 5
years for graduating: children learn reading and writing, understaing
the concepts of general culture and start to study a foreign language
(English or French).
As
they get in a lower secondary school, the difficulties follow. There
are no more primary school teacher, teachers in charge of different
subjects instead. At the end of third year, after an examination,
pupils obtain degrees.
Who
decide to continue studying can choose which school they want attend by
a range of different types: traditional high school, high school
focusing on science (scientific high school maybe?), high school fo
language, high school of arts, institution of technologies and
professional school. The study duration is 4 or 5 years. And at the end
of the school, there is a school-leaving certification which inculdes
writing and oral tests, about the stuff students learned in the last
year. Who pass the certification (almost every students) can get high
school degree.
